When we had this office building built, they asked for our input, and one of the better results of that was that we have full walls for the stall walls, and solid-core wooden doors that just don't quite go all the way down (for flooding purposes, I imagine). So not QUITE as private as a private bathroom, and still a communal sink area, but more sound privacy than your standard bathroom stall.

We also have a single-person bathroom, but it's clear at the other end of the building, so I rarely use it, but I suppose if one were paranoid, they could use that one. :-)

That's a royal flush of a post if I ever read one! (see!?! There's your potty pun!) amen on the cell phone thing, too. That drives me nuts!

One of my favorite things about my now-former job was that the bathrooms were all individual rooms with 1 toilet, 1 sink, and a really loud fan. No communal use and the only sound that carried through the door was paper towel dispenser.
