Yesterday Harrison and I were driving to his haircut appointment, and he was telling me about something he learned on Sid the Science Kid. During the conversation he told me thinks scientists are cool and smart, so I pointed out that Daddy is also a scientist.
"What kind of scientist is Daddy?" he asked. "A brain scientist," I told him. "And I'm a dinosaur scientist!" he decided. "What kind of scientist are YOU, Mommy?" "Oh, I'm not a scientist," I told him. "I'm a lawyer."
There was a long pause, and then a disappointed sigh. Then, "that's okay, Mommy, I love you anyway."
Gee thanks, kid.
